The YMCA provides child care services to the families of San Francisco. Services are open to all with financial aid available. Nine branches serve the area.
This child care service is located at the Parnassus Campus of the University of California. Children take part in a year-round curriculum that includes learning activities, outdoor play and nutritious hot meals. Parents are welcome to visit their children during operation hours.
California Child Care is a resource and referral network system that helps and supports parents, providers and local communities in finding, planning for and providing affordable child care. Their services are free and available to all parents and child care providers.
Holy Family Day Home provides child care services for infants and toddlers as well as pre-school and kindergarten classes for children aged 2-6 years old. A multi-cultural curriculum, breakfast, lunch and snacks, as well as free health screening and foster grandparents program is provided.
This is one of the two university child care centers. This center is licensed for 111 children, aged three months to five years. Care service can be provided on a two, three or five-day schedule basis. Morning, extended, afternoon and full-day programs are offered.
Children's Council is a free, multilingual resource and referral center for families seeking child care. Some of their services include providing training and professional support to child care providers, helping pay for child care for low-income families, finding child care support for children with disabilities, in foster care or who are homeless and offering nutritional services and food subsidies to care providers.
